Susana Soares is Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University within the Department of Engineering and Design. She recently joined the Royal College of Art / EPSRC IMPACT project and held a research fellow position in “Material Beliefs”, based at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Susana has a MA Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art, London, UK. Previously she graduated in Product Design from ESAD, Portugal.
Her most recent work aims to develop collaborative relationships between scientific research and design, employing design as a tool, to explore future technological implications for public engagement and awareness.
Susana’s work has been exhibited and published internationally and is in the permanent collections of MoMA.
